Introduction to Coriolis, the Third Horizon

Described as an "Arabian Nights in Space," Coriolis plays like a mix of Firefly, The Expanse, and Babylon 5 with a touch of supernatural horror.

In "Dirge for the Falling Heavens," the intrepid crew of a small freighter has been trying to survive as tensions rise across the Horizon. Amidst reports of vanishing ships and communication failing to distant worlds, rumors are circulating that the forces of the (now nearly mythical) First Horizon are returning.

What starts as a high profile transport job soon becomes more trouble than the crew was paid to take on. Amongst the cargo is something of value - something that several old enemies have no qualms about killing to possess. As the crew is harried by mercenaries and assassins, they must rely upon their wits, teamwork, and skills to survive. As the mission proceeds, it becomes clear other forces are involved. An entity as old as the stars, something that even a Djinn fears, has plans for the crew and the ongoing strife is part of it. Can the PCs thwart the coming of the Dark Between the Stars?
