Scenario: Fragments of Us A Blade Runner conversion into the transhuman cyberpunk-noir world of "Altered Carbon". The game will introduce the Blade Runner RPG mechanics with a few modifications.  

The year is 2383 and technology has advanced to the point that human consciousness is digitized and bodies are interchangeable. Virtual ads are constantly beamed directly into one's mind to assault the senses, sentient AIs exist and are second classic citizens, and Death itself can be merely an inconvenience - if you have the resources. The gap between the haves and have-nots has never been greater with the average person strugling to survive in shadowed streets while the most powerful (called "Meths" aka Methuselahs) are nigh untouchable and live high above the clouds in the Aerium. It's a bleak neon world filled with rain, gritty detective stories, and humankind struggling to remain human.

In "Fragments of Us," a mercenary team has just returned from a mission that went sideways, but something is wrong - there are holes in the team's memories and details of what occurred during the mission are remembered differently. A few hard truths persist: The data the team was to bring back is missing, Hemingway (the underworld figure who hired the team) has a zero tolerance policy for failure, and the job has kicked up a hornet's nest of collateral damage. Someone is now coming for the team and willing to scorch the earth to get back what was taken. With time running out and allies going dark, can the PCs fulfill their obligation before the new enemy - or Hemingway has them RD'd (Real Death-ed)?
