Scenario: The Collector

Game Description: Welcome to Los Angeles 2037.

The detectives of the Rep-Detect unit are a special breed. Called upon to solve crimes involving Replicants (artificial humans), Blade Runners are known for following leads regardless of potential repercussions. Investigations take them from rain-soaked streets, to the neon lit clubs of the Red Light district, and to the halls of power. Blade Runners find their values and relationships under constant challenge, sometimes having to choose between upholding the law and doing what it takes to remain human.

In "The Collector," the detectives of the Rep-Detect unit are pulled into a political mindfield when a close companion of the leading mayoral candidate, who happens to be a Replicant, suddenly vanishes. What initially appears to be a kidnapping becomes much more when it becomes known that the candidate's desperation to find the associate isn't born out of compassion. The missing Replicant knows a lot about the candidate's life and dealings - enough to bury him politically and legally. Soon other parties, some of which have no qualms about using violence, insert themselves into the hunt. Can the Blade Runners locate the missing Replicant, or will they also vanish in the rain?
